Italian sisters who decided to become entrepreneurs in 1981. We were both very young and just graduated with only a high school education. That didn’t intimidate either one of us, because we were both very hard working determined to succeed and to follow our passion which was baking. Both our parents were Italian so of course we wanted an “Italian Bakery” with our Mom’s recipes that we grew up with. We rented a local shop and started with candy making, baking, and cake decorating supplies. We also provided decorated cakes and held classes in our shop to teach. We started with empty shelves and slowly built up an inventory of supplies for the industry. In 1985 we purchased a parcel of land very close to the unit we were renting to build our own building. It was our parents John and Marie Canzoni who continued to encourage and support us throughout this process to help the success of our business. My dad built the building we are currently in so that we could follow our dream. This was a labor of love we are forever grateful for. After moving into our own building, we started baking “Italian” family recipes and adding more baked goods which is the passion of our business. We started to become more like a bakery and not just supplies with many baked goods. We have built up a list of customers, both retail and wholesale that we have been very proud to serve. They are all the heart of our business and we value their loyalty. It has been hard work, passion, perseverance, determination and family support throughout the years that has made us receive the success we worked so hard for. Thank you especially to our family and all our supportive customers. We will continue to do what we love until we can’t!
